The metal edges are sharp and they cut the floss during use.

    Bulky

I love the idea of a reusable floss stick, however I wish it were a lot smaller and not sharp on the end that goes into the mouth. Everyone in the house injured their gums when we tried it.

    Flosser

I found it too big heavy and bulky. I tried a few times but could not floss effectively. I’m disappointed because I purchased to eliminate the plastic floss heads I use.

    Good idea but doesn't work

I purchased as an alternative to plastic flossers. I have issues with dexterity in my hands and struggle using floss without the aid of a flosser. I was excited when I found this flosser and even paid for the international shipping to receive it. On first use I struggled with the thumb screw as the threads are so short it falls out easily when tension is backed of. Loading the floss sample included onto the flosser was pretty simple but the floss snapped on the first tooth and the edge of the flosser cut my gums. When I inspected the flosser I noticed the edges around the head were left unfinished with sharp edges which seems like a defect or large oversight. I loaded the second floss sample with less tension and tried again being mindful of the sharp edges (if it worked well I would try to smooth out the sharp edges myself). The floss snapped again immediately. I tried it with the Glide floss that I usually use and started with my front teeth that have generous spacing only to have the floss tension fail after the third tooth as the thumb screw does not secure the floss well at all. I have tried several times with different floss of varying thickness only to the flosser tension fail with each one no matter how hard it is tightened...there is barley any contact between the thumb screw and the flay area it attaches to on the flosser so it is easy to see how the floss comes loose so easily. At this point after paying in US dollars, international shipping to Canada and purchasing several different flosses I could have bout several years worth of the biodegradable flossers I was using previously. Very disappointing product that unfortunately will go in the trash/recycling.

    Really, really poor product.

The thumb screw constantly falls out, does not tighten down and looswns when trying to floss. The floss samples it came with snapped on the first tooth and the metal sliced my gums open with the sharp unfinished edges. I bought this in hopes to make flossing easier with the diminished use of my left hand but it is far harder than flossing regularly which I was already struggling with. Paid over $20 including shipping for something that is going in the trash. Even if a free case of floss was sent I still wouldn't use it as it is such poor quality and snaps immediately.
