Happy Thanksgiving
We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We are thankful for our families, friends, and politicians, that's right politicians! In particular our Maine Senators Susan Collins and Angus King. They have co-sponsored a proposal to cut down on the amount of plastic debris in the ocean. The passage of Save Our Seas 2.0 Act is an important first step toward a cleaner ocean. Please contact your Senators and tell them to support Save our Seas 2.0. Locally, our Governor Janet Mills, and our legislators have banned plastic bags and Styrofoam in our state. Maine continues to lead the way in environmental protections. Every effort and small switch makes a huge impact locally and globally. Help us eliminate harmful plastic dental floss.
We are grateful to the courageous students who staged a sit-in during the Harvard-Yale football game. Being vocal to educate others is very important. Hey Hey! Ho Ho! Fossil Fuels have got to go! Indeed!
