It’s that time of year when teachers and students are gearing up for another school year.  As a former school librarian, I still think of August as a new year instead of January 1st.  8 Years ago I retired to become an entrepreneur, eventually leading to my launch of Dental Lace Refillable Floss.

Speaking of back to school, without any background in business, I was able to find outstanding “teachers” who helped me learn all I needed to know to build a successful company. My teachers were my SCORE mentors, other business owners, Maine International Trade Center staff, SBA mentors and my customers. I'm a firm believer that learning new things can be exciting and fun. You have taught me a lot and I’m grateful.

Business mentors have been behind the scenes assisting in every aspect of the company. Our community of customers have contributed to our success too. It is customer feedback that drives me to be a better business owner, to create a better product and to build a better company that is a source of good.

Our B Corp application has been submitted.

A new bathroom countertop compost bin will be back in stock by September.
